Italy's Finest at FishWorks

Wednesday 3rd April, Swallow Street, London
6.30pm 'til Late

With just over two weeks to go before the 47th Annual Vinitaly International Wine & Spirits Exhibition gets underway in Verona, at FishWorks we're excited that just in a fortnight's time we'll be bringing a taste of Italy to London.

For our second Wine Connoisseur Evening, we'll be joined by one of Italy's leading wine growers, Brandino Brandolini of Conte Brandolini D'Adda personally presents his wines to diners on Wednesday 3rd April at FishWorks Swallow Street.

Today Brandino’s wines, grown in Western Friuli on the estate which has belonged to his family since 1780, include Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Traminer and Friulano, Refosco and Vistorta Merlot, which is hailed as one of the best Merlot’s from Northern Italy.

During the evening, Brandino will outline his decision, back in the 1980s, to adopt a different model of wine growing and explain how his resultant collaboration with a prominent French winemaker transformed the face of the Brandolini wines.

Also enjoyed on the night will be wines produced by Primo Franco, who is without doubt "Mr Prosecco", will highlight how, whilst remaining true to tradition, modern day Prosecco can offer completely different styles.

The wines sampled during the evening have been selected to perfectly complement the  stunning 5 course feast, devised by FishWorks award winning Executive Chef, Michael Brown, which heartily embraces the true taste of Italy,  including on the menu Clam Linguini with roast garlic, chilli & fresh parsley and of course, Tiramisu,  amongst other delights!

Tickets for the evening, which commences at 6.30pm are priced at just £65 per person and are available on a first come, first served basis.

To book for the evening simply email reservations@fishworks.co.uk or call 0207 734 5813.

We hope that you are as excited as we are - and look forward to seeing you soon!
